A Sneak Peak Into My Life

Get to Know The Author

Hi, I'm Alex! I'm notoriously bad at these about me things so you're either going to get the most basic thing ever or you're about to know everything about me including my social and address. Where to start? My pronouns are they or he. I'm a queer (if we want specifics demiromantic asexual), transmasc but like in the way Cardan Greenbriar is a boy, and neurodivergent human being. I'm a full believer in yeah it's cool to know why I started writing, but, also wouldn't it be more fun to know about who I am as a person too?!

My partner calls me his alphabet soup because we will combine my diagnoses with the LGBTQ part of me. So, if you're curious it's something like LGBTQAUDHDGADGDBPD (for those not versed in mental health abbreviations that stands for I'm queer with raging gender dysphoria, I rizz' em with the tism, I've got ADHD, hella anxiety, and the ability to say "thanks it's a disorder!" when anyone tells me they like my personality.)

My special interests are: bugs (specifically moths & bees), the grishaverse, taylor swift, red white and royal blue, and the newest addition... RuPaul's Drag Race. I'm a Pisces sun Taurus moon and rising, if you want that information.

I asked my friends/family/partner if they could describe me in one sentence and these are the answers I got:

"Sweetheart. Oh. One sentence." (she did not send a sentence, just agreed with the below one)

"a pocket of sunshine that has chaotic tendencies"

"Oh that's a hard one"

"Ball of chaos"

"Quirky in the way that leans towards autism"

"Someone who radiates so much love, compassion, and joy they glow like the brightest star in the sky"

"A sarcastic lil bean with biting problems"

(These made me realize how loved and known I am. I am emotional)

Anyway, I got into writing as a kid, I was always writing little stories and previously published a poetry collection and decided I wanted to write a book as an adult and so that's what I did. And now I'm setting out on a mission to write queer and neurodivergent stories about love (whether it be romantic, platonic, or self), healing, and acceptance. If I can help even ONE person with my books I'll take it as a win.

If you ever need a friend I'm ALWAYS here on social media a message away.
